I believe a lot of angst came from the nature of this deal and the loan type transition etc. I appreciated Matt's excellent communication, always being available and always willing to work out solutions.

Initially, Stephen was professional and provided good information. However, the majority of our interaction at that point was with his assistant Debbie. Example, she would sit on information then email that she needed things by the end of the same day. Downhill from there. Told Stephen we did not want any further communication from her but it did not stop. Even our final email congratulating us on the loan including her. Since BCC exists it seems pretty passive aggressive to me.

For the last 3 weeks of my closing process, everything was last minute and I had to hurry up by the end of the day because "my rate was expiring". More preparedness on NAF's part would have alleviated a lot of this stress.
