Don't schedule a closing until the loan is "clear to close"

More organized process. I had to do some parts of the process multiple times because of personnel changes. For example, we had to call my creditors at least 3 times during the process. Went for weeks not receiving a status update on the process.

Signing was scheduled to be at 4:00 PM ... got the complete run around and the signing didn't take place until almost 8:00 PM. Very unprofessional. Also, loan was to be a refinance no cost loan, just lowering the term and interest rate ... but at signing the borrowed amount was over $3000 higher than what I owed. WTF !

Process took too long (nearly 6 months start to finish), and I had to call out mistakes made on the paperwork. I was going to cancel, but Moe worked with me to get the contract adjusted, and I was finally able to get the terms that made sense for my situation.

Most of it occurred during the confusion on when We would get the payoff money. Still waiting for our deed so I can go to the county to file our trust document again. I gave the original document to the woman that did the closing and we didn’t get it back so I have to have the lawyer draft a new one.

I've worked with several different loan companies and I just didn't feel like this process and the information available to me was the easiest or most user-friendly. Not to mention the numbers I was presented and what I ended up signing for were very different.
