Was told closing was going to be one price, then something completely different at closing. A lot of hidden costs and no transparency. I was told closing was going to be $8k and it was over $12k at closing.

More communication about the status of the loan. The client told me when he was asked to do something for the lender, but I never heard from the lender. If we are supposed to be a team, I would think I should have been in the loop.

Many communications were in print so small I could not read them easily, including the print on this survey response. I received multiple forms from different people requesting the same information over a period of days. I received different official loan forms with different amounts for the final papers. When questioned about this problem the response made no reasonable sense. Calls and messages were not returned and emails ignored. This form does not allow me to complete my response.

I understand that my clients required a fair amount of paperwork for this transaction, along with some credit repair going into it. However, the process became increasingly difficult when the same documents were repeatedly requested , even after they had been signed. The lender required them to be submitted in a specific order, but my clients struggled with the technical side of organizing them properly. Underwriting could have easily consolidated the documents they already had into a single PDF in the preferred format, which would have alleviated a lot of stress. Unfortunately, our timeline was completely derailed We closed six weeks late. There were also grammatical errors in the clients’ names at the closing table and poor communication throughout the entire process, across all parties. We chose Bob based on his strong reputation in the industry, but this experience was far from ideal. I’d be hesitant to work with him again without a clear plan and a stronger commitment to meeting deadlines.
