Since the beginning there was a lack of communication, not just from Bryan but from the whole team. We initially started the loan process with Patrick Cannon and after leaving his first company we were thrown to NAF, then Patrick left this company so we were stuck. Maria in underwriting was awful at communication. After multiple attempts to call, text and email. It took Bryan reaching out to her to finally receive a very short response. Buyers and myself were grateful we closed on time but the closing department was down to the last 24 hours before getting documents to the title company. My clients did not receive their CD until hours before closing. I understand since COVID that some lenders do not attend closing but with Bryan being a local lender I would have thought he would have made an appearance. It is nice to put a face to a name. There are so many local lenders to choose from and standing out so agents and buyers use your company is an everything in this market. I will continue to use my select favorite lenders over New American Funding. It felt like we were working with a huge lending company like quicken loans, no personal interactions or that feeling that makes you feel like you are in great hands.

During the whole re-fi process I only interacted with Brandon once. The entire correspondence consisted of "contact my assistant." Andrea, his assistant, is the most awesome, hardworking, dependable, honest, personable, and fun person I have ever worked with in a professional setting. She explained the process, was patient with questions, and went above and beyond what I expected of her. Please recognize the gem you have in your business and treat her accordingly.

There were so many documents that could have been prepared for and ready for you all had they been asked for ahead of time instead it was oh we need this ok here’s this.. we’ll we will need this and this ok here are those, ok we need this too. Like make a list of everything you could possibly need and it would be so less stressful.

I think my loan officer, Alex was great interms of making himself available over quick calls anytime of the day, getting great competitive rates. However, in few areas I found the process a bot frustating such as understanding the exact timelines to complete the loan, lock-in period of the loan, requiring purchase of points and then recurring changes in points etc.. all of which could have been avoided with detailed and advance written communication. Since it was my first house purchase in the US, I’d appreciated treating me like without any knowledge to go over the process.

Lack of communication and shared information. Client was forced to seek information for her closing to arrange moving. The excuse was that her dad had to be added at the last minute which was total frabrication because he was asked to put him back on the loan 30 days prior to closing. NAF dropped the ball. Should have closed on 04/29, didn't complete Notary signing until almost 11:00pm on the same day. Deed could not be recorded until 05/01/2024. Senior Processor was rude and argumentative.
