I was told by the buyers that she recommended Cheryl Fuss list the house when I had it listed. Very unprofessional. Also, when I recommended they get a HELOC which would have removed lots of stress from the whole transaction I was told that she did not think that was a good idea.

I had a horrible experience from New American Funding. My 45 day escrows turned into 90 days one of which is still not finished, with very little corespondents. I would not have received any updates if I wasn’t the one who contacted NAF myself. The loan processors Ashley and Paula have been the only people that appear to be trying to help. I will never refer anyone to New American and I was severely let down by this company.

Todd rarely communicated with us. We would leave messages but did not receive a return phone call. The other office associates were great. They returned messages.

The communication was a pull process from me vice a push progress from those involved from New American. I was specific of our goal and yet their was unilateral decisions made by NAF that I nor my wife was involved in it even told till we were sitting down to sign. NAF contacts called but not able for answers. Felt that not signing would further delay the signing delaying our contractors to remodel, facilitate our in-laws living quarters (my father in doing chemo). Added significant stress!

Chris L was very knowledgeable and helpful when I initially talked to him. It was very hard to reach him with questions that I had with my loan afterwards and it took a few calls/texts to get him to return my call. I would on 2-3 occasions have to email/text him, call him on his cell and work number and leave a vmail, and then call-in to office and talk to someone to have him to call back. I don't know if he is over worked and this is a problem on the Co. side. in the end just ok.
