More communication throughout the process. Most lenders send updates as the file progresses through the process. I received no updates unless I initiated communication. Also it would have better if the loan closed on time.

I checked in on a weekly basis and was told that we were meeting closing date. Modification of Closing had to be extened twice. My sellers were not happy with how this transaction shaked out.

Jim was really good in getting the loan approval initiated in no time and the approvals were in place and loan was cleared. But as soon as the loan was approved within no time my mortgage was transferred to some new company (roundpoint). And I came to know about it only after I reached out to NJLenders asking about my first EMI dates. It all felt as if they wanted me as a customer till the time they wanted the commission, after that I have Zero value. I will definitely not recommend NJLenders to my friends.

First of all, Indy was very responsive after my first contact with him, everything was going great, he answered all my questions promptly and my application went through various stages. Issues started once Indy took himself off the process and handed it over to Nadia, she won't respond to any of my emails or calls, I waited several days for a response only to contact Indy. I don't believe she ever read my emails.

As I've shared with you, the original interaction was great - on the ball with sending me what was needed, my response, and verification of what was rec'd by you. However then the ball dropped. There was significant delays in processing the loan. Many requests for repetitive information - requested W2's, updated checking account statements, and paystubs. Our credit report even had to be run again as it was due to expire by the time the loan was processed. Closing paperwork 130 pages??

Would have been better if we have received prompt response

Be more proactive, communicate, tackle items that may take longer to clear first. Think outside of the box, and be resourceful.

Luz lacks communication, there was a lot of spelling errors as well as errors with SSN's. I feel like this experience would have been a lot better if she gave frequent updates on what's next to come and or what to expect. I had better communication with the realtor that helped look at homes then I did with my loan officer. He answered all my questions in a timely manner. Also, when it came to signing closing document it was pretty rude and unnecessary to sit there and gossip about another clients process while you are trying to focus on what you are signing and asking questions if needed too. I totally understand you may have only 8hrs or work with a lot of clients but there are ways of balancing all the work out.. maybe having an assistant help with updates while loan officers focus on paperwork may help this? I absolutely disliked the lack of communication, and errors. Something she should definitely work on focusing on.
