I went to close on my new home and was told it was in fact scheduled for the following day. My realtor and the closing place had to scramble to get it corrected so I could get it done the correct day, as the moving truck was being loaded to move as I was there to close. Devin was nice when I spoke to her along the way, but I very nearly had a huge problem on closing day.

Better communication and explanation of the loan costs. Answering and returning phone calls in a timely manner is a must.

I have concerns about misinformation regarding my loan details. Firstly, there was an unnecessary point purchase that was never discussed. I challenged this point purchase from the very beginning but was assured over the phone that it was a mistake. Secondly, it appears that a hard credit pull was conducted, despite the promise of only a soft pull. Additionally, communication from your end has been sporadic and only initiated when it suits NAF's needs.

I was not honored with the 3.99% interest promised. I had to fight for everything else to come to place and I'm still unsure how my mortgage come to a $260k to be financed. I'd appreciate if someone could explain to me.

I don’t know who Julie smith is and never had communication with that person. I also never spoke to Matt Allsop. During the process I was changed agents 3 times, without asking me or notifying me. I would find out when I’d have to reach out about something. Finally, Berto Zepeda was the last person I was assigned and he was communicative. This experience would have been better if New American notified about all the agent swapping and kept better track of my documentation.

I am happy with the program that was available to help with the down payment. Had there been better communication about this program and an exact amount we could qualify for with that programs help, the week we choose our design, we would have chosen more features for our new home. We were not called back in a timely manner that week with clear communication before signing off on the home design. All other calls and text made us feel like they were too busy for our business. Quality over quantity would be a good idea.

We were told different than the way it happened. Nothing seemed to go as planned. Told to expect the check, scheduled the work they wanted done, now I have to figure out what to tell these guys I have doing the work. Pretty disappointed about that. It makes me look bad. I was relaying what I was told!
