We had to push closing more than once due to the overly co.plicated nature of the income verification process. Every person who interacted with that awful form you require were confused by it. If multiple people submit the verification form incorrectly then it's the form, not the people. Also, every time we would submit a new list of paperwork, we were told there's more paperwork... For example we were told the underwriter needed W2s. Okay, got it. Then after submitting that we needed to have those awful income verification forms submitted. Okay, that was a nightmare but it's done. Then we were told that I needed proof that I had been trained how to do my job since I've been employed for less than a year or something! Just tell me everything you need at once- in the beginning. Stop piecemealing paperwork that you know will be necessary. We had to go like 5 rounds where we were told the underwriter 'just needs a few more things,' but we were told that over and over and over. Finally- AFTER WE CLOSED WE'RE STILL BEING HOUNDED FOR INCOMPLETE PAPERWORK???? This has been horrible. I actually literally asked my real estate agent if we could pull out and she explained how much trouble we'd get in. I would never recommend NAF to anyone. I would recommend people stay far, far away.

Robert Berry seems able but unwilling to pay attention to the details that will matter most in the home buying process. This cost us money, as well as needless anxiety and extra legwork due to canned "industry-standard" responses to practical, case-specific questions pertaining to our home loan. Thankfully we closed the deal, but were told we "should be celebrating" when we tried voicing our complaints. Unprofessional. Would not recommend when there are so many others out there hungry to provide even the "industry-standard" customer service.

Very polite but when working with her long distance communication may be an issue. My sister and niece were working with her to see if they pre qualify for a home loan but they didn't have the income or credit needed. This could have been told to them from the start but was told to them months later. They went to someone else in tri cities and although it's also a distance from them the gentleman has had conversations with both on the phone about exactly what needs to happen for them to be able to be considered for a loan. Luz is very polite but I would not recommend if it's working with her from a far and or you are a first time home buyer because then you are also somewhat clueless of the process as well.

Take the time to explain everything to your customers. Don't worry about whether you'll gain or lose confidence; they will appreciate your effort and love you for it.

I got a pre-approval then I never heard from Mike again for over a month, while I was trying to close on a house. I emailed him 4 times but I didn’t get a reply. If I only relied on Mike to complete the loan, I wouldn’t have been able to buy the house. Good thing I was in touch with other lenders throughout the process.

Jason was wonderful for the whole process! When I had lack of communication between Loan processor and title company Jason was my go to and he found out what's going on for me. A process that should of been only a few months (sibling buyout) took 10 months and we almost lost my husband's family home.

Our rep Jeff was nice but I don’t recommend this company. Use your local bank.

Crazy weird call from an aggressive collector. Seems when your payment is the first thru the fifteenth it is due on the first. Rude, unprofessional, and an a$$hole mentality. Not a good start, to the next thirty years..hoboy!
