Lack of communication regarding documents needed to proceed with loan multiple times, which delayed the closing by over a month. No follow ups. Countless emails were never responded to. I had to verbalize that I was considering using another company for my loan to get things to move forward. Still unsure how or when I will receive my loan payment.

I was misinformed from the beginning. Things that were promised were later changed or stated as "i the customer misunderstood " paulina was the worst i bas did her job. she made getting my voe very hard until I literally called my previous jobs and had them email her to get her to do her job. She either would not answer or call me at the end of her job. The only way to get her to move my loan was to do her job. Or to cc her manager. Under writer slowed down my process alot by asking for things rand

Well they didn't pay what I wanted them to pay so they took it on themselves to pay what they wanted to pay and now I'm left still paying pretty much everything and my mortgage is more

There needs to be better communication especially with first home buyers. Especially if they are going through the VA. There needs to be an understanding of how much information will be requested by the underwriter so the buyer doesn't feel like they are in a endless loop of sending bank statements, job verifications, and other personal information over the span of months. This will alleviate alot of frustration. As far as the closing process, this decision was changed a few times in a few days. These were important decisions concerning tens of thousands of dollars that was confusing for everyone involved. I received different answers from different people in just a few days when we were already supposed to have signed. This needs to be fixed.

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience with Renee. From the very beginning of the loan process she always seemed as if she were too busy to explain things clearly and she would only communicate via email with the exception of one time. The one time I did finally get her on the phone to go over the final numbers she was talking way to fast and things were not clear at all. I eventually just said ok so I could get off the phone with her and took my papers elsewhere to have them fully explained to me. We had spoken to her (via email) about the amount of money we needed to borrow and things we needed to pay off in order to make the loan work for us and we thought she was working on that. The week of closing on our new home we discovered she was not working on the numbers we had requested and she did not infact do what we had asked but we were already so close to closing that we had no choice but to go ahead. When talking to her about the numbers and that they weren't what we needed, she made a laughing noise and said I could figure out how to pay those things on my own. Throughout the entire process we voiced our concerns about the loan and making it work for us and it truly felt as if she were not taking our concerns seriously and our concerns were not addressed. There were other issues we had during this process but all in all Renee was not very helpful and reaching her to talk about the terms we needed was next to impossible. If the buying of our home had fallen through for any reason we had planned on finding a different lending company. I will not be recommending Renee to anyone seeking a loan.

The issue may have come from the buyer and or the other agent , But nothing was on time and I felt I never got the whole truth. To her credit Cheryl did pull it together and got it done . --J
