Better communication, explanations and working with other communication

Your company chose to charge the buyer with taxes for years 25, they havenot been assessed and will not be until late 2024 and not due until 2026. Money is being held in ESCROW which has not been billed and/or unknown. Question for banking and finance state of Florida. As we understand from your company this is normal. What does federal law Say? I am not an attorney, so I would have the option of asking. It raised the buyers payment to more than ever quoted. We found out a week before closing that his loan was changed, the interest was higher and that taxes were higher because of you policy. This was communicated one week before closing. You ask the reason; policy, communication,and the fact the buyer was felt hostage. It's closed and loan is secured!

Communication was not there.. promises were not kept like on interest rate. I should not be punished if rules changed when i was allready in a agreement. Was not happy with process at all. To much stress during process wasn't easy

So many different people asking us for so much!! One or two contact points would have been amazing!

Communication. An error was made on the lender end that created much undue stress. No one was willing to take responsibility and rectify the issue issue quickly. Received conflicting messages as we approached closing with no clear answers as to why.

There was some incorrect information carried over from a previous loan. I notified my loan contact of the errors and he said he would have them corrected which he did, but the interest rate was higher on the corrected documents. I notified him of the increase, and he said he would amend it to match what the original document rate. He later notified me that he was not able to make that correction. The error increased my interest rate by 1/2% which is significant and highly disappointing. I will not fund any future purchases with New American.

Communication timing of document request everything was done in reverse making the process more stressful Accuracy of the information received via previous agents was completely off base! I was told by the first person I delt with as a new buyer he could lock me into a very low rate. This was not the case. Would have been nice to know in advance that the 3rd party reviewer of funding was going to do a SECOND hard pull to my credit 27 point hit I have to get back now. Overall communication was more about the sale not my long term business. Not really happy with the process. AS someone that owns a business process is the way my world works. Everyone could have had less work & stress if things were done in order of importance not "Building a file" I understand the need for the underwriters to protect the bank. They need to be educated on what exactly the IRS documents & is willing to share/ send. This was the biggest waist of time in the entire process to happily prove the underwriters WRONG.
