There were some important details we felt we should have been made aware of at the start that we only found out about once we were more than halfway through the process-these things might not have changed our minds about using your company but they did impact our costs and getting straight answers about why those charges and changes were required was way harder than it needed to be. At times, talking with Mr Nuckols, was not only frustrating but singularly uninformative. Zoey did what she could to make the process easier toward the end but …. Just a few thoughts - perhaps you should clearly explain the ramifications of shopping some of the costs and fees and make sure your people are up to date on fees, endorsements and requirements of the State where propert is located as well as what you require for specific kinds of loans before doing the original estimate or at least proactively make borrowers aware of changes that will impact those costs. We were required to remove our home from a trust -only to be told we could put it back as soon as the loan closed. We were required to pay in advance $1000 in insurance premiums for a policy which has been in place for years to process a loan that did not have an escrow account and optional endorsements were required among other thing, simply because we chose to use our own Title Company. Just a few of the frustrations that made the experience less than favorable.

Max was never available to speak and when contacting his direct manager it was worse! I was very unhappy about the experience and don't know if new Americans will be the company we use in the future. Over all I'm glad we got the loan done but it was filled with miss compunction and detail that Max was not informed about the VA loan and would in return provide us wrong information

This experience was more like buying a used car than it was buying a house. The loan process was the worst part of the deal. On top of all the back and forth to get a loan NAF has the nerve to tell us they will sell our information to 3rd party companies and we can't stop them. They also sold our information before we even committed to continuing with the loan after our application was submitted. Very bad business practices.

Communicating the error that had been made regarding using an old Application which ultimately doubled the closing period that he promised he could deliver. Promises are to meet certain deadlines were frequently missed and no communication was initiated unless I initiated it.
