I would appreciate more communication on the loan status. It didn't seem like anyone was talking and we received conflicting emails about the closing. The refinance took a lot longer than it needed to.

A loan person who made me fee Like my loan was important and a processor that did the same. I don’t feel like either of them was concerned about my loan.. listened to me or responded in a reasonable time. I had to ask questions a bunch of times snd many of my emails went unanswered. This was not my best experience .

You are able as a lender to reach out via a call to ask an appraiser to get information back to you. You said you were unable to and that almost cost the loan to not go through. I had to reach out for the lender...know your rights.

More communication and less 3rd person involvement. I was absolutely satisfied with Sean, then I was passed on and could not even get him to give me a call back even after a few emails.

Better communication, faster was told it would take 30 days to close 4 months in total. cost me right at $350 to $500 to keep relocking the loan started out at 2.8% ended up at 3.1% due to them dragging their feet not processing the paperwork also in some cases sending the same paperwork. By not getting it done in timely manor which I explained due to my divorce settlement ( gave a copy to them way in advance of my divorce settlement) could have got me in content of court with my ex thank goodness it did not. Im not happy but its done btw very high closing cost also due the delays in paperwork filing well I guess you made a lot money from me

Once our rate was locked in, Will disappeared and was not helpful. Little communication and was nothing like our first interaction with New American Funding.

Took a long time. Unclear messaging. Lots of back and forth on official paperwork. Lots of seemingly unnecessary hoops. Didn't seem like a well run process. We have our own insurance and we are being told that you are buying insurance for us at a more expensive cost. Would not recommend.

Communication. I found it to be very subpar, and at times unacceptable. Neither my calls or the calls from my Transaction coordinator were returned promptly. and many times not at all. Same for emails. The few days leading up to closing were very stressful for myself and my client as communication seemed to stop completely. Unfortunately, I won't be able to recommend Newamerican in the future to clients.
