New American missed my closing date by a week, even though they claimed to be able to do the loan in 14 days and we gave them over 40. Communication was inconsistent and unclear, even at crisis time (AFTER closing date!), and seller was about to put the house back on the market the same day that New American FINALLY signed and recorded. They did get me an incredible rate, so I have to give them credit for that, but it was not worth the stress, hassle, and unprofessionalism!

Provide more attentive and responsive care to clients. A buyer should never experience a lack of communication that leads to a possible compromise which could result in increased rates or loss of home purchase. In addition, I take personal health serious. When the person representing me becomes ill I'm quite sympathetic. But when that person does not offer an additional line of communication (colleagues, management, etc) to assist in their absence... Offer additional lines of communication.

Not a bad person but overall the company communication style is horrible and made an already stressful experience even more so for me. As long as things were rolling smoothly everything was good, but once it got off course for a bit the breakdown and lack of communication became a hindrance. Communication in definitely the key for transactions like these.

I expect professional, clear communication, punctuality, and respect from those I work with. The job did get done so I appreciate that. But process was unpleasant and I don't ever want to experience that again. No compensations were made for the mistakes, delay, and poor manners exhibited by Scott and Brooke.
