Better communication throughout the process and a cohesive appraisal would have made a huge difference. Instead of telling me upfront all the repairs that were required, I was told one, and then at the last minute, more. It was very frustrating. Not to mention that I would give the appraiser/appraisal company they used an even worse review. I had to go out and do part of the appraisers job myself in order to finish everything.

Poor communication! Everything turned out differently than I was told. Also I asked for no impound account and was told that I wouldn’t have it but in the end it was there. Many things didn’t occur as I was told. Scott was more interested in getting a sale than providing me with what I wanted or was told.

Anthony was very helpful and knowledgeable throughout most of the process but closing was a DISASTER. There was a huge lack of communication between New American Funding and the companies they subcontracted which caused a lot of frustration and poor business. I was even asked to provide closing costs a second time because they didn't keep track of the cashier's check I provided them.

Issues that I personally had were as follows: Communication between me and my wife was spotty. She would receive all emails, texts, and I would get the occasional update. During closing even though my work situation was known well in advance, it seemed to be a surprise. Also was given an amount to close, completed transaction and paperwork then was told to drive to the office to give a two dollar and change check. Really?
