While our experience with D&K mortgage was satisfactory, I cannot say the same about our loan officer. Not only us, but she was difficult to work with our realtor or title company too where we received several complaints about her way of conducting the communication. On top of it, she gave us a very deceiving advice which in the end she refused to take the responsibility of. Now we have to bear the burden of 2 mortgages costing us 10K a month, just because we trusted Lina.

Very little communication from Mark, and towards the end he wouldn’t even answer or return my calls. Christy, kept asking for the same information over and over again, which was frustrating. I was told things are much harder now due to covid, which I understand. However, I also financed my personal home at the same time and had no where near The issues. Overall I was very disappointed in the whole process and will look elsewhere when purchasing the next duplex.

Thank you Dwayne for All that you had begun to do by assisting Michelle and I to move forward with our Home Ownership process. As her husband I had asked her not to respond to your very last and very unprofessional email. I was very offended that you took aim at my wife over an email that you decided to respond to several hours after she sent in her aim to acquire answers. You should look for the best in every individual because it's the Godly thing to do and not because other people steer you to do so. You simply could have ignored that email and stayed the professional that you are supposed to be and strayed away from the insults. I'm not into Corporate America but I d*** sure know that Customer Service 101 refrains you from handling this matter in such a way. Anxious or frustrated it's not your place or anyone else's to try to diagnose her mental state of mind. Again, thank you for all that you had done, but maybe this isn't the right profession for you if you are that easily consumed by a email from a client and then bash them openly. Better communication and not getting defensive when asked questions about the file and how it was progressing. IT IS NEVER PERSONAL, it is about the client and getting them successfully to the desired outcome...closing, but not at the expense of bad customer service.

Terrible underwriting, terrible service, terrible communication. My whole refinance was a jumbled mess because of NAF. I mean just absolute incompetence and pure disregard for customer satisfaction. If I didn’t spend 3 months trying to get this refi through I would have pulled out of the deal with NAF because of the poor service. I plan on reporting the incompetence and terrible process to the BBB. Had I now followed up and pushed my rate lock would have expired.
