This whole process was very unorganized and frustrating. I signed up to work with one person and every day I would get a new email from different people telling me five different things. Extremely confusing and irritating. Would not recommend.

Mr Simmons mislead me about my title being clear when actually he had know idea about the status of my title. Once it was discovered there was a lien on title he never returned phone calls or emails to give any type of updates. My only contact during the rough patch of my refinance was with Terri Garza the processor. Terri was wonderful and thorough and I wish she could have earn the commission from my refinance.

Elizabeth was very pleasant to deal with, but communication was an issue. We missed two different closing dates because of lender issues. The first time they missed a condition in the appraisal report which we corrected immediately. The second time, they said the loan was complete, but failed to send the package to the closing attorney in time. At one point, the lender tried to blame the real estate agent for a delay and tried to pass on a change fee to the realtor. Overall very unpleasant.

I've worked with Zach before on a previous transaction not too long ago and did not have any issues. However, this transaction was the complete opposite of the other. I understand the lenders are swamped with refi's right now, but it does not mean you get to put other clients on the back burner - especially a purchase. We did not close on time which caused my buyers time and money. I like NAF, however I will most likely be looking for another loan officer to work with.

This file was very frustrating for the buyer (who happens to be in the mortgage industry himself). The initial underwriting took entirely too long, and the file was in final UW for DAYS with no explanation as to why. While I do understand that lenders in general are very busy right now, the fact that to this day there are emails that I sent to Frederick and Rhonda asking for updates that were never answered is unacceptable. Not a good impression on me or my clients at all.

The entire process was stressful and unorganized. I felt like I was the first loan that they had ever worked on because it seemed like no one could give me a clear answer on required documents needed. It was very frustrating to have my closing date delayed twice due to key components not being communicated by the broker, underwriter and processor. Instead of celebrating my new home I’m still checking my email in fear that this company will demand more information.

Arnold is not well versed in keeping people up to date. He would say there was a problem then would disappear for days no updates.

At first communication was great I was getting personal updates all the time getting close to the end it was dead silence. When I asked in reference to the closing date and copied in the Title company as well I was ignored and when I asked again I was referred to someone out of state who was three hour ahead. We did not close on time and I had to be emailing different people who were emailing each other as if I wasn't included in the process. At one point I had to remind all I was there.
