This place has been a disaster! We worked with one woman last summer, she seemed fine at the time, but we were handed to Colleen when that person (Mary) was on vacation. Colleen is the worst communicator on the planet. She asked for documents, we sent them.., she said she wanted more stuff but said we were approved... had to be asked a half dozen times for the approval amount and it was at between an almost 4% rate and a solid 5% rate! My fiancé doesn’t have sub prime credit (I don’t either, but this would be his). He was approved for more at a lower rate by another lender when his income was less a year ago. This company is ridiculous. Having to pull teeth just to get a ridiculous response is awful. She wasted our time. I reached out to Mary and she never contacted me again. This all took place over longer than two weeks time. Don’t come expecting to buy a home efficiently.

Frustrated with service. Felt like bate and switch with loans and assigned a realtor that was not honest and upfront. My family was endangered by the dishonesty of the homes condition.

LAME! You couldn't give me a courtesy call to tell me I wasn't approved. You left me waiting for 2 weeks (knowing I had to renew my lease on a time crunch) until I emailed to ask what's going on. I won't give you my busines.

Communication and staying on time. He ran behind, he didn't send out the FHA paperwork until days before closing.

Not helpful at all. Led on a wild goose chase. Kept on being pushed off to other people in office who got ruder as we went on. Took more than 2 weeks (almost 3) for denial when we told them we had a very short timeline going in and they assured that is was no problem. Questions not answered. I would NEVER recommend them. Got qualified by another lender in 3 days.

I have owned many homes. I have never had an ordeal such as this one. I had to repeatedly provide duplicate paperwork because it was misplaced? It took 90 plus days to close! The loan and the interest were not as promised when I prequalified for the loan. Closing was cancelled the day and minute of multiple times. I could not get a reply to emails nor phone messages. Closing notice given 3 hours of closing! Not one person from lending company was at closing. The sellers had already come and gone by the time I was told of closing time, that very day. I was ignored multiple times! I had appliances set to be delivered, as well as furniture and was having a privacy fence installed. I had to change all of these things and reschedule 3 times. I had the utilities on in my name for over a month before I actually owned the home and home owners insurance with an effective date 40 days prior to owning the home, all because they failed to submit my loan information in a timely manner and because the paperwork was done incorrectly not once but twice! Tyler Wilson did not return my phone calls nor reply to my emails. I felt that I was treated very poorly and very rudely by Tyler. I will never use Tyler again nor will I recommend him to anyone.

Disgraceful Treatment of Veterans - New American Funding Fails Its Mission If you’re a veteran seeking respect, professionalism, and a lender that values your service, avoid New American Funding at all costs. I approached this company expecting the level of care they claim to provide to veterans, only to be met with blatant disrespect and dismissiveness. When questioned about the delays in my file, I was told by Duane—and I quote—“We can work on others’ files that are serious about us.” Excuse me? Here’s a newsflash: I am the customer. It’s your job to take every client seriously, especially those you advertise to serve—the veteran community. This statement not only showed a lack of professionalism but a fundamental misunderstanding of what it means to serve veterans who have given so much to this country. Duane’s comment and attitude reflect poorly on the entire company and its supposed mission to support veterans. If this is how New American Funding and their representatives like Duane treat the men and women who served, imagine how they handle others. This company is an embarrassment to the lending industry and a betrayal to the veterans they promise to support. Take your business elsewhere—there are lenders out there who will respect your time, your service, and your commitment to securing a better future.

Send every person to the realtor first. The people you hire to do the nuts and bolts should NEVER work with the customers. If this was my 1st experience with NAF , i would have ended the deal. It was because of Greg Bloom that i stayed on to do the loan. He is the only person that is firing on 100%.
