She was slow to respond, gave vague and unsatisfactory answers. Didn’t seem familiar with the details of my file when we spoke. Almost derailed my closing because of negligence. Luckily our escrow officer saved the day! In addition she spoke down to me when I expressed my frustration. She’s a nightmare! I have never experienced such unprofessional behavior from a person dealing with my money, credit and future circumstances before. An absolute disappointment.

The entire process was the worst one we've ever experienced from start to finish. Items were not explained after requests, terms were put into the paperwork to which we did not degree, pressure tactics were used, amounts were increased without our approval, we were charged several thousand dollars to reduce the rate without our approval (only caught it because we read the small print), etc. The closing date was moved multiple times without anyone contacting us, causing us to have to take time off of work for no reason. We were left waiting for hours each time, after which we had to make contact to find out what was going on. We lost valuable time and money due to the New American employees involved, who had no consideration for us. These are only a few of the numerous instances of our negative experience. The conduct on the side of the bank employees was unprofessional, unethical and evasive. We kept extensive notes on each instance of such conduct, and are strongly considering reporting this to higher authorities.

Closing on time is a start. Communication and answering your phone when I call is also a start. And doing the things you say you are going to do is also a start. Looks like a lot of places to start.

My loan took 2.5 months to close, part of which is due to my job and home history being deleted by you from your system. Then you had the gall to charge me an extension fee then deny my dispute because my HOA took too long to respond (according to Chris Moore). That was only due to holidays and covid schedules, no fault of mine, but you still hold me financially responsible. Furthermore, I was promised call backs by Chris on multiple occasions and cannot recall him ever following through. I always had to call back to get information. Now I’m being sent in circles trying to get information on a second dispute concerning the extension fee. Nobody knows anything and would prefer transfer me somewhere. I was literally transferred between lending and customer service 3 times before I had to be stern enough with someone to give me their attention and handle my concern. I fully regret my decision to follow through with your company and I haven’t even made my first payment. I am not looking forward to the next time I have a concern or question.
