I would not refer anyone to NAF. They were so unprofessional and had no sense of time management. They expect you to be able to drop whatever you are doing to get them documents that they need despite them asking extremely last minute. Even while we were signing closing paperwork the title company was still badgering them for forms they still needed.

I feel like I was put on the back burner . I could never get Mr. James McKibban on a call . He told me everything I wanted to hear through his other co workers . My personal information was somehow sold after dealing with him . BEWARE

Rating this experience a “1” is generous. I would’ve given it a “0” if I could. Initially Camille gave “campaign promises” to gain our business. Once assured of our business her whole attitude changed. Thinly veiled sarcasm was the order of the day. She acted as if answering our questions was an inconvenience. On one occasion she outright said she didn’t have time to answer our questions. Further she even said that the title company had “pawned us off on her”. More to say but I’ve run out space.

Good morning, This is Ignacio just refinance with this company and I was a horrible experience. If you see my case you can see a lot of mistakes done by loan officers, that later on I had to pay for there mistakes. I'm thinking about reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and to the Department of mortgage.

Communication - Advise which team members (whom, what they do, and follow up to task completion). Information on options and potential road blocks in loan process. Conformance to expected time line. Need to seriously perform at a professional and hold team accountable for short comings. Also should hold other departments (underwriting) accountable for loan process failures and delays.

I contacted Brittany McLendon on June 9 about purchasing my first home. She was on vacation and suggested I utilize her website to fill out an application so she could review it upon her return. I filled out the application and submitted all requested documentation. On June 19, I received an email from Brittany's colleague about ways to quickly increase my credit score. I replied detailing what I had already done and what I would not be doing at this time. I asked if there was a way to proceed with the information I had already given. As of July 7, I have not yet received a response and my application on the website still shows in the review stage. Since New American Funding has proved unresponsive, I have been in contact with a different lender in the area, who has quickly provided me a pre-approval letter. I will not continue to pursue a business relationship with New American Funding, nor will I recommend them to anyone else.
