Be proactive and reach out to your customers. I reached out 3 times to you to check my status. Don't procrastinate the employment verification. I was contacted and asked for phone numbers when I had to Google the numbers just as you could have. Don't lose multiple emails and documents. There were several instances where I was asked multiple times for several different documents. I underwrote business loans for over 3 years. Mortgage underwriting is easy and this whole team was unprofessional

Communication was dismal. We were always guessing where o loan was at. Jorge an Elvis insisted on only emailing 1 of the borrows instead of everyone. Sort of all, he lied about cancelation fees when we were ready to back out from the bad experience. I’m disappointed. the only reason we looked into refinancing was because we had such a good experience with NA; after this, we are never coming back nor recommending NA

Everyone at New American was nonresponsive. The processor did not begin working the file until 5 days to closing and then only because I, my realtor, and the title company got 3 levels of management involved. New American was still requesting documentation 20 minutes before my closing. New American was completely unprofessional and inept during this entire transaction. I will not recommend you to anyone, nor will I use you for future home purchases. You caused tremendous stress.

A complete lack of communication. 9 days to closing, Title had not heard anything from the lender. Had to contact corporate customer care and get the Branch Manager as well as the Processing Manager involved. 3 days prior to closing, no Closing Disclosure received until after close of business here in Texas. Myself (Agent) and my client (Buyer) had to stay on the Lender with hourly phone calls to get updates. Received 2 of the 5 Loan Status emails, FUNDING & CLOSED, after the fact.

Promises were made for the best deals and rates! None of it was met. It is very hard to communicate with him via telephone,emails, voicemails he doesn't return calls or messages. Drop by and visit the Lobby because he is hard to find when he is not at work. Who works on Loans out of the office?

It was a long process and waist of time for us. Payments were not made on time and caused us to have late fees. We were back and forward with papers that were not process in a professional manner!

Didn’t communicate with me, didn’t return phone calls, texts or emails. He failed to meet the deadline with the paperwork for my loan, then wanted to tell the sellers realtor it was my fault for failing to turn in documents; which was not the truth. Would give me dollar amounts of what closing would be turn out to be 11000.00 more then initially discussed and a higher interest. Had to involve the branch manager to actually get my loan closed. Hands down the absolute worst experience!!!
