I’m very disappointed in my experience with New American. The estimated fees and charges were severely understated by thousands of dollars. The cash out amount I signed at closing didn’t even end up being correct. I would never recommend using this lender.

I only received one or two e-mails from Jonathan. For some reason he communicated with the sellers agent and not me his buyers agent. That was something I have never had before. I felt out of the loop with my own client.

There was no communication to Title company (aka escrow equivalent in CO) when asked about the closing documents. Emma in CO specifically emailed all parties at New American Funding about a mail out due to the fact that clients were out of state. Timeline of ALL due dates and closing for 6/25 was sent at beginning of this transaction. Matt stated that "his notes had June 28th" Not true. There was delay after delay, from processor, funder, etc, which caused closing to be delayed until 6/29.

The refinance was a disaster the closing was a disaster the amount that I was supposed to get it closing which I didn’t get it closing was a disaster everything was mailed that’s a disaster the checks that I got to pay off the creditors were not correct to me it seems like all they cared about was getting their money for closing horrible experience

The first time I spoke with Juri i was exuberant. Every time along the process something was different. I got more and more frustrated. I don’t think it is Juri’s fault as much as I believe your process is very disorganized with poor communication between departments. I have ended this experience with a very bitter taste. I would not recommend New American Funding to anyone.
