We’ve purchased a dozen houses or more, and this was by far the worst experience we’ve ever had. We applied in December and closed in May, and delays were 100% NAF. The house belonged to a friend, we have credit scores over 800, and the price was less than what one of us makes in a year - should have been the smoothest transaction ever. Lost documents, repeated credit hard inquiries, multiple changes in who we dealt with under Sam. It cost us lost rental revenue thanks to delays.

We worked with Moni on our refinance after being with NAF for the last several years. He told us our lender fee would be waived, however during the notary signing, we noticed that the fee was not waived. When we asked about it, he apologized and said he “doesn’t do business this way” and explained that because the appraisal came in lower, they would not withhold the original promise of waiving the fee. Deeply disappointed and we will not recommend NAF to anyone in the future.

A list of expectations and ECDs upfront. The reasons behind why we were being asked to provide duplicate information multiple times and how each intertwined with the loan. Communication with what our place of employment could expect as my HR had no idea what was required and when. Communication about closing schedules, instead of just scheduling and making us feel like rescheduling would be a problem. Consideration that both my husband and I have demanding jobs with schedules and meetings.

Communication would have been nice. We called, text,email and still alot of times no response. I would think communicating with the individuals buying a home and answering questions would be important. On the other hand, when everything was handed over to Jerry. It was awesome! He answered phone calls, emails and text messages. He also took the time to explain things to us and answer all of our questions . Jerry was awesome! Paige not so much!

From start to finish the process of my refinance was conducted in an unprofessional manner. Internal personnel made decisions upon themselves without discussing my file with me. The signing date continued to be pushed back month after month. Lack of internal communication led to client frustration.
