Nolan took over this transaction from another loan officer. The previous loan officer communicated with me daily and was available for questions from the buyer or myself. I reached out to Nolan immediately after he took over this transaction. I emailed, called and text multiple times. He never responded. I had to get updates from my buyer. Nolan finally called me the day before closing and that was the first and only time we communicated at all.

What would make it Better is for all the unwelcome solicitation that comes with doing business with new American. Tired of calls and constant mail asking to purchase more stuff. Threw them from them selling my information and wife’s information. Would not recommend this company.

Don't lie to your customers saying a closing date so we sold our house then try to change it the night before and in reality we didn't close until Almost 3 weeks after the date he gave us.

An absolute shit-show!!! Very disorganized and feel like she lied to us about certain aspects. Did not close on time and she didn’t know what our deadline was. Despite me asking a myriad of times regarding certain aspects on the disclosure, we were told “just sign the papers” and she would take care of things after the fact WHICH SHE DID NOT! I had to go through the process necessary to correct her error and she flat out was not truthful. I would NEVER recommend her to my worst enemy!

Not available when needed. Failed to capture that I wanted 15 years vs 30 that I found about only in the closing. Only texts, doesn’t call.

I feel like Kurt didnt work for my loan, I had a simple VA loan and he wouldn't work with my rate at all. From August to October interest rates fell by .5 and he said my interest rate was locked in at 4% I fought to fight even threatening to walk away if my rate went to 3.75%, he finally caved and put my rate at 3.75%, Intrest rates fell again towards the end of September and he wouldnt reduce rates. Overall terrible experience and untrustworthy. Multiple documents sent over and over.

From the very beginning of getting pre-approval (which turned out to be meaningless) all the way through 2 separate approvals to them delaying the closing because they were ready to submitting more than 30 documents to constant requests for more documents made this experience the worst i've had with any company.
