The communication level should have been a lot better. I would email with questions and I would never hear back. I was literally sitting at the closing table and I was being asked to pay additional money towards closing cost because a mistake had been made on the closing disclosure. The closing attorney asked the lender to give me a call to explain the discrepancy and I never even till this moment received a phone call. I asked if I could lock in my rate and I was told no which caused my interest rate to be extremely high. I have numerous complaints with this entire process. As a first time homebuyer this was the worst experience any first-timer could have had and I believe that I experienced many of my issues because of my race.

There was very little forethought in the information i received. I had to unlock my rate and incurred a much higher interest rate because of details missed by Reese. This caused needless delays, much additional work of updating documents multiple times and about a 3% higher interest rate. I should probably speak to an attorney about the losses i incurred because of this negligence. I would not recommend your company as long as Reese or people like him work there.

Dragged out the process and I missed my original closing date. Asked him questions and he said the processor knew, not him. Also, was given a difficult time throughout the entire process.

Zillow referred me to GW. I should have known... I have excellent credit and substantial assets, but just getting preapproved through GW took nearly a month. Alex quoted me a crap rate over the phone, so I went and found another lender with a better offer. A month before closing, Alex said he would beat their offer and gave me a lower rate. I said okay let’s see the the estimate, to which he pretty much told me he can’t actually honor that rate. These people will say whatever to pull you in and then hose you before closing. Constant delays and mix-ups. I was even left a voicemail for a different client AFTER HE LISTENED TO MY MAILBOX GREETING. I wouldn’t trust these people to handle your home financing.

Bad experience with alisha Penn. In the end it's been 2 months now I have a different guy working on a new application, he can't find the one I filled out with her.
